The club issued a statement dispelling the rumours.

“Bikita Minerals is not for sale”, declared the club spokesperson Collen Nikisi.

The main sponsor of the team, Bikita Minerals (Pvt) Ltd is fully committed to its mandate and has not indicated any desire to quit. The sponsorship is part of the company’s community engagement initiatives which it has always done with other programmes and interventions in the area they operate.

Plans are currently underway to build a state of the art Lithium Stadium to host Bikita Minerals FC matches in future.

These developments do not validate the claims of the club sale.
