Mhondoro Ngezi highlights investment opportunities at Zim Agric Show

The 2023 Agriculture Show under its theme” Sustained Growth, Adaptation, Productivity, Linkages,” has unpacked a number of business and investment opportunities.

Mhondoro Ngezi Rural District Council is exhibiting at the show.

The RDC has unveiled the richness of its districts and various investment opportunities that lie within its jurisdiction.

The RDC is open for business and is calling for investors to come and invest in various flagship projects in the area.

Talking to our reporter the RDC said, “The are a lot of opportunities in tourism development”.

To those eyeing business in tourism, the RDC has Ngezi Recreational Park, Chitsuwacha Mandizadza Dam, Manhize Chikapakapa, and mountain Ranges as places in need of investment.

The RDC sells stands for recreational buildings, resorts, hotels and house lodges. The RDC is also open for housing and infrastructure development (Big deficits abound at Turf Township, Mamina GP, Battlefields Township and other 40).

These are the major business centres in Mhondoro Ngezi RDC and are open to any potential investor for development. Commercial stands for small to medium enterprises (SMEs) are readily available.

New lines of industries can be incorporated.

Mhondoro Ngezi is along the Great Dyke and gold-bearing swathes of land in the district thereby creating investment opportunities in mining.

There are also mining-related industries which include engineering, construction. Agriculture based industries are also stationed in the district.

The district has eight functional irrigation schemes in which farming can be conducted throughout the year. Chitsuwa Dam is an opportunity for those who want to venture into fishery.

As the nation is aiming for clean energy the Mhondoro Ngezi RDC is providing space for those interested in solar energy. Large tracts of land have been set aside for the project in the district.

The RDC is open to investors in line with the nation’s clarion call, “Zimbabwe is open for business”.
