President Showcases Zimbabwe’s Investment Potential at Osaka 2025 Expo

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has used the global platform of the Osaka 2025 Expo to present Zimbabwe as a compelling destination for infrastructure and tourism investment, calling on Japanese and international partners to seize the vast opportunities emerging from the country’s development agenda. Speaking during Zimbabwe National Day commemorations on Wednesday, the President articulated how the ongoing rehabilitation and modernisation of infrastructure across the country provides a fertile environment for private sector participation and global partnerships.

With key projects underway in road construction, dam building, and irrigation system rehabilitation, President Mnangagwa said Zimbabwe’s developmental momentum is a signal to investors that the country is open for business and anchored on stability and progress. He emphasised that these projects are not only transforming physical landscapes but also empowering communities and boosting productivity, in line with the National Development Strategy 1.
