Nationwide Calm Prevails Despite Shutdown Calls

As the day winds down, calm has prevailed across the capital and much of the country despite shutdown calls led by Geza and widely circulated on social media platforms. In Harare, business continued uninterrupted throughout the day, with activity in the Central Business District (CBD) and surrounding areas flowing as usual.

Similar scenes were observed in Bulawayo, where the 65th edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) continued smoothly. Both local and international exhibitors and visitors participated actively, showing confidence in the prevailing peace and economic environment.

The day ends with no major incidents reported, as Zimbabweans went about their normal routines despite the shutdown campaign.
