System disturbance cause power blackout

Power utility, the Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (ZESA) has advised the nation that the blackout experienced on Tuesday 17 December at 1255hrs was due to a system disturbance.

A power imbalance on the international power connector affected the national grid and Zambia.
