WestProp Launches $300 Million Luxury Golf Estate in Zimbabwe, Aims for Regional Excellence

WestProp Holdings has unveiled its ambitious $300 million project, The Hills Luxury Golf Estate, during a high-profile launch attended by President Emmerson Mnangagwa. The development, which marks a significant milestone in Zimbabwe’s real estate sector, promises to redefine luxury living in the country and position Zimbabwe as a regional leader in upscale property development.

The Hills Luxury Golf Estate is set to be a premier residential community, featuring an 18-hole championship golf course designed to PGA standards, a five-star hotel, branded villas, townhouses, retirement flats, and extensive green spaces. This project is part of WestProp’s larger vision to lay one billion bricks by 2050, contributing to Zimbabwe’s infrastructure growth and aligning with the government’s development goals.

In addition to its residential offerings, the estate will include a country club, tennis and swimming academies, a shopping mall, and a 24/7 clinic, ensuring a comprehensive and luxurious lifestyle for residents. The development also boasts 80% green spaces, emphasizing eco-friendly and sustainable living.

WestProp CEO, Ken Sharpe, highlighted the company’s commitment to innovation, excellence, and collaboration. He praised the government’s support and emphasized the importance of regional integration, particularly under Zimbabwe’s new role as the SADC Chair. Sharpe expressed confidence that The Hills would attract global visitors and investors, further boosting Zimbabwe’s economy and reputation.
