PROPHET VICTOR KUSI BOATENG TO HEADLINE JESUS CONFERENCE IN CHITUNGWIZA

By Positive Eye News Reporter

GHANAIAN preacher Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng, the spiritual father of Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa, is set to headline the Jesus Conference, a major Christian gathering scheduled for the UFIC Basilica in Chitungwiza from 21 to 23 August 2026.

The conference will bring together Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng and Lady Rev. Mrs Anita Kusi Boateng from Ghana, who will minister alongside Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa and Prophetess Ruth Makandiwa during the three-day programme.

The gathering is expected to attract worshippers from across Zimbabwe and beyond, with the programme featuring multiple services dedicated to preaching, worship and spiritual teaching.

For Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa, the appearance of Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng carries particular significance given the longstanding spiritual relationship between the two ministers.

Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng, who leads Power Chapel Worldwide in Ghana, has been closely associated with Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa’s ministry journey and has previously ministered in Zimbabwe on several occasions.

His connection with UFIC also extends to the conference venue itself.

In April 2023, Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng officially opened the UFIC Basilica in Chitungwiza, a major church facility that has since become an important venue for large UFIC gatherings.

The forthcoming Jesus Conference therefore brings the Ghanaian minister back to a venue with which he already has a significant connection.

Three days of ministry

The conference opens on Friday, 21 August 2026, with the first service scheduled for 5PM CAT.

The programme continues on Saturday, 22 August, with services at 8AM, 12PM and 4PM CAT, before the final gathering on Sunday, 23 August at 9AM CAT.

The organisers have also incorporated a digital component into the conference, with services set to be streamed through the Emmanuel Makandiwa YouTube Channel, allowing audiences outside Chitungwiza to follow the proceedings.

The inclusion of ministers from Ghana also gives the gathering an international character, while the presence of Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng places particular emphasis on the longstanding spiritual connection between the guest minister and Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa.

The UFIC Basilica

The conference will be hosted at the UFIC Basilica in Chitungwiza, one of the largest facilities associated with the United Family International Church.

The basilica was officially opened in 2023 by Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng, with reports at the time describing the facility as having a capacity of about 30 000 worshippers.

Its selection as the venue for the Jesus Conference provides the organisers with a large platform capable of accommodating the expected congregation while also supporting the conference’s multi-service programme.

With Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng and Lady Rev. Mrs Anita Kusi Boateng joining Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa and Prophetess Ruth Makandiwa, the Jesus Conference is set to bring an international ministry dimension to Chitungwiza.

The gathering will run from 21 to 23 August 2026 at the UFIC Basilica, with services scheduled across Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
