Chamber of Mines to Host Annual Conference and Golf Tournament in Victoria Falls

The Chamber of Mines of Zimbabwe is set to host its annual conference and golf tournament from the 21st to the 24th of May 2025 at the Elephant Hills Resort in Victoria Falls.

The prestigious event brings together industry leaders, government officials, investors, and financiers to engage on key issues shaping the future of Zimbabwe’s mining sector. It serves as a crucial platform for dialogue, collaboration, and investment promotion.

Zimbabwe’s mining industry, which contributes approximately 12% to the national Gross Domestic Product (GDP), remains a cornerstone of the economy. The sector is projected to grow by an average of 7% in 2025, with export earnings expected to reach US$6 billion. This growth will be anchored by a strong recovery in gold, platinum group metals (PGMs), and diamonds.
