To achieve this, Epiroc offers specialized technical support, allowing customers to choose between frequent site visits from technicians or having a dedicated team stationed on-site for continuous maintenance and troubleshooting.
Beyond technical support, the company has introduced flexible spare parts and service solutions. Through VMI warehouse assistant, Epiroc ensures that essential spare parts, consumables, and tools are stocked at customer sites, eliminating procurement delays and enabling seamless operations. These stocked parts are invoiced based on agreed terms, usually on a monthly basis, though customers also have the option of ad-hoc purchases.
A major beneficiary of Epiroc’s enhanced services is Zimplats, Zimbabwe’s largest platinum mining company and Epiroc’s biggest client in the country.
