Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman is the CAF Player of the year

The 2024 CAF Awards were held in Morocco last night with Nigeria and Atalanta forward, Ademola Lookman being crowned (Italy) the CAF Player of the Year after a stellar performance throughout the year with both the National team and his club.

In the women’s category, Barbra Banda of Zambia who plies her trade at Orlando Pride in the US was the CAF Player of the year.

The awards were held at a glittering ceremony amid pomp and fanfare with FIFA President Gianni Infantino and CAF President Patrice Motsepe among the guests.
