The President said this when he addressed aspiring legislators at the official opening of the five-day ZANU PF ideology workshop in Gweru this Monday.

The workshop spearheaded by the Herbert Chitepo School of Ideology is being attended by ZANU PF aspiring candidates in the forthcoming general elections.

ZANU PF aspiring legislators attending the workshop have vowed to deliver a resounding victory for President Emmerson Mnangagwa and the ruling party in the general elections slated for the 23rd of August.

“The President’s message was very clear. We need to go all out and deliver the necessary victory for our President’s sake. I am going to ensure that the girl child supports the vision of our President. It is time for us to work hard and support the revolutionary party and ensure victory in the process,” said Chikomba West aspiring legislator, Tatenda Mavetera.

“The President has given us the necessary message as we go into these elections. We are ready to do all we can and ensure that we do the right thing of ensuring a victory for our party. It is only reasonable for us to prove that the President has the right vision for this country,” said Murewa South Aspiring legislator, Noah Mangoma.

The Gweru interface is part of the ruling party’s preparations for the 23rd of August general elections.
