He Highlighted that Under President E D Mnangagwa a lot had been achieved in the agricultural sector including 5 irrigation schemes in makoni .

New dams in Zimbabwe and a lot of infrastructure investment by the Government these projects include the muchekeranwa Dam . Romsley irrigation scheme , Dzvairo irrigation expansion, Timber mills GMB Makoni AI powered silos to curb post harvest loses .

The mechanization of agriculture through the John Deere facility, belarus facility and many other schemes have supported agriculture in Zimbabwe including Makoni district

The devolved and decentralized tobacco auction floors has supported farmers in makoni who have contributed significantly to the production of tobacco .

He urged the farmers to align to the ministry of Agriculture policies and programs including the pfumvudza intwasa program as climate change is a reality. The introduction of the Agro ecological tailoring is a game changer . The Minister highlighted the importance of skilling , upskillling and re skilling in terms of productivity.

3 bulls for top the winners from makoni south , makoni west , makoni North

He also donated boar goats for the winners .

cellphones to the police to help curb livestock thefts

bicycles to support communities and police .through the DDC offices and police

600 bags of cement through the Zanupf Party structures and Agritex officers to repair diptanks .

He Thanked the organizers of the show and the exhibitors for an improvement in quality and efficiency. Noting that the number of exhibitors and markets continue on an upward trend .
