FIRST CAPITAL BANK TAKES LEADERSHIP AND BANKING TO COMMUNITIES IN 18-DAY NATIONAL ROADSHOW

Harare, July 20, 2026 — First Capital Bank has launched its 2026 Strategic Client Roadshow, an 18-day national stakeholder engagement programme designed to bring senior leadership directly into communities across Zimbabwe.

Under the theme : “Customer First. Belief Comes First. Taking Leadership to Communities. Bringing Banking Closer, the Roadshow is translating the Bank’s Customer First strategy into action by meeting clients, businesses, community leaders, employees and media partners face-to-face.

Over 18 days, the First Capital Bank leadership team will visit 13 cities through a mix of roadshow activations, the Deposit & Drive Promotion Tour, client visits and luncheons, stakeholder engagements, Employee Town Halls, live radio broadcasts, social media outreach and business opportunity forums.

As of Monday 20 July 2026, nine cities have been completed: Marondera, Chinhoyi, Bindura, Mutare, Chiredzi, Masvingo, Zvishavane, Beitbridge and Bulawayo. The team will conclude the trail in Gweru, Kwekwe, Gokwe and Kadoma by 24 July 2026.The programme is an annual commitment to strengthen relationships, explore new opportunities and advance financial inclusion across Zimbabwe.

The strategic thrust of the Roadshow combines visible leadership, integrated communications and direct engagement. The goal is to improve accessibility to banking services, deepen client relationships, promote financial inclusion and support Zimbabwe’s economic development.

To achieve this, First Capital Bank is using bespoke engagement platforms tailored to each environment. These include community radio, live radio crossovers, WhatsApp platforms, newspapers, social media, branch activations, media lunches, business forums and direct client visits. The approach is designed to maximize reach and participation in every province.

Through the Roadshow, First Capital Bank is focused on five priorities namely, Sharing Vision and Strategy, Building Relationships, Supporting Economic Growth, Advancing Financial Inclusion and Digital Adoption and. Strengthening Brand Trust.

Running in parallel with the Roadshow is the Bank’s flagship Deposit & Drive Campaign, a nationwide savings promotion running from 1 June to 30 November 2026.The campaign rewards consistent saving and active banking. To qualify, customers must maintain a minimum monthly balance of USD500 in a qualifying personal account and hold that balance at month-end. Customers can increase their chances through bonus entries by registering for and using the Bank’s digital platforms, including the Mobile App, Internet Banking and USSD services.

Every qualifying month offers another entry, and customers stand a chance to win one of many brand-new trucks. It is one of the Bank’s biggest customer reward initiatives to date.

At Roadshow activations and in branches, customers can open qualifying accounts, register for digital channels, learn how to maximize bonus entries, and get guidance from Bank associates. Beyond the prizes, the campaign supports financial inclusion by encouraging sustainable savings habits and digital adoption.

First Capital Bank says the Roadshow demonstrates that, Customer First is more than a strategy. It is how the Bank listens, partners, innovates and grows alongside the communities it serves.
