MURAMBINDA — In a display that fused political triumph with strategic foresight, Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, National Chairperson of ZANU-PF and Minister of Defence and War Veterans Affairs, used the Buhera Central Constituency victory celebrations at Dzapasi Assembly Point on 22 February 2026 to emphasise that political success must be matched by tangible development, community engagement, and youth empowerment.
Honorable Muchinguri-Kashiri stressed that the realisation of Vision 2030 requires unity, cohesion, and collective commitment. She reminded Party leaders and members that the long-term objectives of the Second Republic cannot be achieved without disciplined mobilisation and accountability at the grassroots level. “Unity remains the cornerstone for achieving national development goals,” she said, framing the constituency victory not merely as a celebration but as a strategic platform to reinforce party-led nation-building.Highlighting the central role of parliamentarians, she challenged MPs to deepen community engagement, insisting that their representation must translate into actionable development projects.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa, through his Special Investment Advisor, Dr. Paul Tempter Tungwarara, committed 600 bags of Dangote cement, 2,000 food hampers, and laptops from the Ministry of ICT, with the handover conducted by Honorable Muchinguri-Kashiri.
