Hardrock FC Appoints Wellington Mpandare as Chairman

Newly promoted Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) Hardrock Football Club has appointed seasoned administrator Wellington Mpandare as its new Chairman, effective immediately. Mpandare, a former Warriors Manager, brings extensive experience into the club, having handled logistics, welfare, and player relations for the Zimbabwe national team.

The other members of the Executive Team include:

  • Deputy Chairman: Elvis Shumba
  • Board Member Finance: Edmore Mukoyi
  • Chief Executive Officer: Kudzanai Hove
  • Members without portfolio: Charles Chahwanda, Jonathan Chahwanda, and Tinotenda Chahwanda

Mpandare’s experience includes; Team Manager for the Warriors (2019 AFCON qualification and CHAN), Liaison officer for the Warriors and has held various other roles within the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA).

This appointment comes as teams bolster their squads for the 2026 soccer season, with changes in executive teams, players, and technical staff. Hardrock FC aims to make a mark in the PSL with Mpandare at the helm.
