The tournament is scheduled to take place from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, in Morocco.
This prize money hike is part of CAF’s broader strategy to enhance the stature, intensity, and financial appeal of African football. Motsepe also hinted at significant increases in prize money for the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup, although specific figures were not disclosed .
