The Zimbabwe senior men’s national team, the Warriors, has arrived safely in Casablanca, Morocco.
The Zimbabwe-based contingent comprising Thando Ngwenya, Corbin Mthunzi and Tawanda Chirewa has linked up with the technical team in Casablanca, where the squad will be based for training.
According to ZIFA, the team will set up camp in Casablanca for a couple of days before travelling to El Jadida for their opening 2027 AFCON Qualifier against Sierra Leone on 24 September 2026 at the Stade El Abdi.
Foreign-based players are expected to join the camp today ahead of the crucial Group E encounter.
The Warriors will return to Harare via a chartered flight on Friday for their second qualifier against the Democratic Republic of Congo at the National Sports Stadium on 28 September 2026.
