U.S. Suspends Zimbabwe Visa Applications Except for Government, Diplomatic Travelers

As of today, the United States has suspended visa applications from Zimbabwe, except for government and diplomatic travelers. The U.S. Embassy in Harare said it received overnight instructions from Washington to halt consular services.

This means there will be no visa interviews or appointments at the embassy in Harare until further notice. Embassy officials await more guidance from Washington.
