The Zimbabwe national football team, the Warriors, have unveiled their squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers, with a blend of local and international talent set to represent the nation on the global stage.
Veteran goalkeeper Washington Arubi (Marumo Gallants) leads the shot-stoppers, alongside Martin Mapisa (MWOS FC) and Brentford-based Marley Tavaziva.
The defensive lineup features Jordan Zemura (Udinese), Godknows Murwira (Scotland FC), Emmanuel Jalai (Dynamos), Devine Lunga (Mamelodi Sundowns), Gerald Takwara (Al Minaa), Munashe Garan’anga (FC Copenhagen), Isheanesu Mauchi (Simba Bhora), and Peter Muduhwa (Scotland FC).
In midfield, Zimbabwe will rely on the experience and skill of Khama Billiat (Scotland FC), Marshall Munetsi (Wolverhampton), Andy Rinomhota (Cardiff City), Marvellous Nakamba (Luton Town), Mthokozisi Msebe (Scotland FC), Knowledge Musona (Al-Kholood), and Tawanda Chirewa (Huddersfield Town).
Upfront, the attack is spearheaded by Prince Dube (Young Africans), Tawanda Maswanhise (Motherwell), Terrence Dzvukamanja (SuperSport), Tymon Machope (Scotland FC), and Walter Musona (Scotland FC).
