The 2025 tobacco marketing season commence on Wednesday 5 March 2025 starting with Auction Tobacco Sales.
Contract Tobacco Sales will start on Thursday 6 March 2025.
The Tobacco Industry and Marketing Board (TIMB) advised stakeholders in a statement.
Zimbabwe’s tobacco harvest for the 2024-2025 season is expected to be 300 million kilograms. This is a significant increase from the 235 million kilograms expected in 2023.
