BREAKING: WICKNELL CHIVAYO DIES IN MARONDERA HELICOPTER CRASH

Prominent Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo has died following a helicopter crash in rural Marondera this evening.

According to a report by Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC), family spokesperson Mr Herbert Chivayo confirmed the death of Chivayo and his wife, Lucy Muteke.

Mr Herbert Chivayo said the family was at a loss for words following the tragedy.

Zimbabwe Republic Police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi also confirmed the crash, saying the helicopter had six occupants.
