Geo Pomona Partners Government for Landmark Waste Management Conference

The Ministry of Environment, Climate and Wildlife has announced a landmark partnership with Geo Pomona to host the prestigious International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) Regional Conference in Harare. The two-day event will take place on March 30-31, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency, with the theme “Enhancing Sustainable Waste Management Practices and Circular Economy”.

This conference aims to address the pressing challenges of waste management, focusing on circular economy principles and sustainable practices. The event is made possible through the support of Geo Pomona and the Environmental Management Agency (EMA), demonstrating a strong public-private commitment to environmental sustainability.

The conference will feature high-level discussions, policy development, and practical strategies for waste management. Notably, the event will be graced by the First Lady of Zimbabwe, Amai Dr. Auxillia Mnangagwa, who is the Environment Patron and Global Zero Waste Ambassador.
