The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has announced a landmark two-year partnership with ProBottlers, a leading beverage company, as its Official Hydration Partner. The deal, valued at US$120,000 per year, marks a significant boost to Zimbabwean football, with ProBottlers providing water and energy drinks to support all national teams and grassroots programmes.
The partnership will see ProBottlers support the Warriors, Mighty Warriors, and junior representative sides, as well as ZIFA’s expanding grassroots initiatives across the country. This collaboration is expected to enhance player welfare and performance standards, with proper hydration playing a critical role in modern sports.
ZIFA President Nqobile Magwizi welcomed the partnership, stating that it represents an important step forward for Zimbabwean football. “Proper hydration is fundamental to modern sport, and ProBottlers’ support strengthens our ability to prepare, compete and recover at the highest level,” he said.
ProBottlers Managing Director Rory Harley expressed pride in partnering with ZIFA, citing the power of football to unite communities and inspire the next generation. The partnership extends beyond elite competition, with young players across provinces set to benefit from improved welfare support.
The deal reflects ZIFA’s efforts to secure practical and impactful partnerships, prioritizing player welfare and operational excellence. With hydration needs now comprehensively supported, ZIFA remains focused on delivering measurable progress on and off the pitch.
