Dynamos FC Shake-Up: Bernard Marriot Sacks Executive Committee

In a shocking move, Dynamos Founder and Chairman Bernard Marriot-Lusengo has dismissed the Moses Maunganidze-led executive committee with immediate effect. The entire committee, including vice-chairman Clemence Chimbari, treasurer Justice Mubayi, secretary-general Webster Marechera, and David Chikomo, has been shown the door.

In a statement, Marriot cited “failure to run the club appropriately” as the reason behind the sacking. “It’s with a heavy heart that I announce the immediate dissolution of the club’s entire executive leadership,” he said.

The move is seen as a bid to turn the club’s fortunes around after a dismal season. Dynamos finished 13th in the league, sparking widespread discontent among supporters. Marriot assured fans that their concerns are being heard and that the club’s priorities are being realigned.

“This decision is intended to restore sanity, stability, and a winning mentality at Dynamos FC,” Marriot said, adding that the board is committed to returning the club to its former glory.

The road ahead looks tough, but Dynamos supporters are hoping for a better season ahead. As the club navigates this transition, fans are wondering what’s next for their beloved team.
