Egypt responded in the 63rd minute, with Omar Marmoush scoring a powerful strike to level the match at 1-1. The contest remained tense until stoppage time, when Mohamed Salah delivered a dramatic 91st-minute winner, securing a 2-1 victory for the seven-time Africa Cup of Nations champions.
