Supreme Court Judge Feliciah Chatukuta has passed away

Supreme Court Judge Justice Feliciah Chatukuta, 63, has passed away in Harare. Chief Justice Luke Malaba confirmed her death in a condolence message, expressing sympathy for her family.

Justice Chatukuta was appointed to the High Court in 2005 and elevated to the Supreme Court in June 2021. She had a distinguished career, serving as a public prosecutor, part-time lecturer at the University of Zimbabwe, and director at the Legal Aid Directorate.

Mourners are gathering at 18 Lower Hampden Road, Marlborough, Harare, with funeral arrangements to be announced.
