President Mnangagwa Reorganises ZANU PF Politburo

HARARE – President and First Secretary of ZANU PF, Cde Dr Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, has announced a reorganisation of the Party’s Politburo in line with Article 9 Section 65 of the Party Constitution as read with Section 67.

The changes, which take immediate effect, see Cde Adv Jacob Mudenda appointed Secretary-General, while Cde Patrick Chinamasa has been named Treasurer-General. Cde Obert Mpofu has been reassigned as Secretary for ICT, and Cde Ziyambi Ziyambi has been appointed Secretary for Legal Affairs.

According to the Party, the reorganisation is intended to strengthen leadership structures and reaffirm ZANU PF’s commitment to its policies, ethos and the Permanent Zimbabwe Revolution in service to the people and the nation.
