Fastjet Launches Bulawayo, Victoria Falls Route to Boost Domestic Connectivity

Fastjet Zimbabwe has announced the launch of a new domestic flight route linking Bulawayo to Victoria Falls, set to commence on Friday, 08 August 2025.

The airline, known for its regional efficiency and award-winning service, will operate four weekly flights, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, using its comfortable Embraer regional jet fleet.

Speaking on the development, Nunurai Ndawana, fastjet’s spokesperson, said the new service strengthens the airline’s footprint in Bulawayo and demonstrates its commitment to supporting tourism and business in the Matabeleland region.

“We are reaffirming our position as a key airline partner in connecting the region,” he said.

Fastjet’s Chief Commercial Officer, Vivian Ruwuya, highlighted that the route is a result of strategic industry consultations, noting growing travel demand between Bulawayo’s manufacturing economy and Victoria Falls’ tourism hub.
