Terence Tanaka Zandawa aka Tiergo is a rising Afro-pop sensation from Glen view.
He is 28 years old.
“My inspiration comes from musicians like Winky D Trevor Dongo,Davido and so on”, said Tiergo.
To create an infectious sound that blends traditional African rhythms with modern pop, he said.
He shared that he has over 20 tracks of singles including the hit track NDIPE MOYO featuring TREVOR DONGO.
” Ndipe moyo was played on several TV channels both international for example on Trace Africa and locally”, he shared.
Tiergo have many collaborations with artist like Trevor dongo,Sani Makhalima,Roki,Terry Afrika,Cindy, Diana Samkange,Lazzie T, Leonard Mapfumo, Astrue ,Chapepa and Empress Lily from Naiza boom.
” I have 2 international collabos already released ,the first one is UTHANDO ft DJ Thate and the Queen from Botswana and the second one EZIOKWU ft Onyebuchi from Nigeria”, shared Tiergo.
He added that he is working on two more international collabos, Vachida vasingade ft Zolasko Vatsay from Botswana and Bolingo Opesingai ft Josey from DRC which I’ll drop soon.
“I have 6 videos on my YouTube channel and more to come.
“This year I have posted few new songs let me love you ft Trevor dongo, Mumoyo ft Terry Afrika and all songs produced by Lazzie T”, shared Tiergo.
He also stated that UTHANDO ft Dj Thate and the queen, EZIOKWU ft Onyebuchi, and other collabos and solo songs are on his YouTube channel by the name (TIERGO).
“My passion is to bring a unique sound and style that is captivating to audiences worldwide, and definitely to be one of the top artists to watch in the Afro-pop world” , he noted.
Tiergo explained that his new EP titled “Wekwa Zandawa” contains 6 tracks that showcase his growth as an artist and my ability to blend different sounds and styles.
“The EP talks about love, heartbreak,and praising God,self-empowerment, and perseverance”, he added .
Tiergo said , ” he drew his inspiration from his surroundings, personal relationships and current events”.
I wanted to create music that would uplift and inspire my listeners.
“Fans can expect a more mature and experimental sound from me.
“I have pushed the boundaries of Afro-pop and incorporated different genres and styles”, added Tiergo.
