A Rusape man tragically lost his life after being run over by a train yesterday.
The man lost both legs and was rushed to the hospital in Rusape. Because of the severity of the injuries he had to be referred to Mutare General Hospital. He died on his way to Mutare.
Train accidents continue to soar which is worrisome.
The public is urged to exercise extreme caution around railway tracks and be on the lookout for trains.
The National Railways of Zimbabwe (NRZ) expressed its condolences to the deceased’s family.
