President Mnangagwa arrives in Namibia for Nujoma burial

His Excellency President ED Mnangagwa has arrived in Namibia to attend the memorial service and burial of the late founding father and President of Namibia, Dr Samuel Daniel Nujoma.

President Mnangagwa left Harare this morning. He will be among world leaders bidding farewell to the revered founding President Nujoma who dedicated his life to the emancipation of not only Namibia but the African Continent as a whole.

President Nujoma served as the first President of the independent Republic of Namibia from 1990 to 2005.

Dr Nujoma who died on February 8 will be buried this Saturday 1 March 2025 at the Heroes Acre.
