Kenny Ndebele resigns from Premier Soccer League

The Chief Executive Officer of the Premier Soccer League (PSL) Kenny Ndebele has resigned from his position with effect from 24 January 2025.

Ndebele who has been at the helm of the PSL since 2011 has contributed to the growth and professionalization of the league.

The league did not avail reasons for his departure at a time the football fraternity looked forward to his immense experience to steer the PSL ship going into the future.

Rodwell Thame takes over in an Acting capacity while the league searches for a substantive replacement.

Ndebele is credited with professionalizing the league and assisting the clubs to come up with working structures.

He also presided over the improvement of the game which has seen national teams qualifying for international tournaments.

He has left an indelible mark in the football fraternity.
