
Former cabinet minister and ZANU PF National Consultative Assembly member, Chenhamo Chimutengwende (81) and Major General (Retired) Solomon Siziba (67) who died on Thursday and Wednesday respectively have been declared National heroes by President ED Mnangagwa.

Chimutengwende succumbed to kidney complications while Major General (Retired) Solomon Siziba died after a long battle with cancer.
ZANU PF National Political Commissar, Munyaradzi Machacha delivered the news of the National Hero status conferment to Chimutengwende’s family in Harare.this Friday.
On the other hand the Minister of State for Bulawayo Provincial Affairs and Devolution Honourable Judith Ncube advised the Siziba family in Bulawayo on Friday of the declaration.
Burial arrangements will be announced.
