The Victoria Falls Hotel Remains Under Original Ownership

The owners of The Victoria Falls Hotel have dismissed rumors claiming the property has been sold.

Emerged Railways Properties (ERP), the owners of The Victoria Falls Hotel property, along with Meikles Limited and African Sun Limited, the lessees and operators of the hotel, have refuted media speculations about the hotel’s ownership and their partnership.

Media reports suggesting that The Victoria Falls Hotel has been sold are false and misleading.

The hotel has not changed ownership, as reported in some media circles. The property remains under the ownership of Emerged Railways Properties (ERP), and the lease agreement between ERP and the partnership with Meikles Limited and African Sun Limited remains intact and is expected to continue for the foreseeable future.

ERP and the partnership have reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining The Victoria Falls Hotel’s iconic status, ensuring operational excellence, and preserving the historical significance of this heritage property, which plays a vital role in supporting the tourism sectors of both Zambia and Zimbabwe.
