The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA)has reviewed the price of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) following the exemption from value-added tax (VAT) with effect from 1 January 2025 promulgated in Finance (No. 2) Act, 2024.
The price of LPG in United States Dollars, has been set at US$1.61 per Kg from US$1.86.

In his budget presentation on November 28, the Minister of Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion Hon. Prof Mthuli Ncube exempted Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) from value-added tax (VAT) as a strategic measure to mitigate the rising costs associated with LPG.
