
THE Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) has confirmed Saudi Arabia as the host nation for the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
The 2030 World Cup will be hosted by three countries Morocco, Spain and Portugal who submitted a joint bid.
Morocco becomes the second African country to host the world cup after South Africa in 2010.
As FIFA commemorates the centenary of the first world cup it has added three more countries to host some of the 2030 world cup matches. Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay are set to host some of the matches.
The historic tournament will for the first time be hosted in three continents.
The first world cup was hosted by Uruguay in 1930.
