President Mnangagwa Launches US$280 Million Hills Luxury Golf Estate in Harare

President Emmerson Mnangagwa officially launched the Hills Luxury Golf Estate in Harare, a US$280 million development by West Properties Private Limited. This significant project is set to add over 862 residential units to Harare’s housing stock, accommodating approximately 4,310 people, and is a key part of Zimbabwe’s Vision 2030 and urban development goals.

The President highlighted the project as a testament to private sector confidence in the government’s economic policies. The Hills Luxury Golf Estate, with its state-of-the-art amenities including a golf course, gymnasium, and sports academies, is positioned to enhance Zimbabwe’s national brand and image while aligning with global trends in sustainable urban living.

President Mnangagwa also stressed the importance of incorporating green technologies and climate-resilient designs, commending West Properties for their commitment to environmentally conscious development. He called on stakeholders to ensure that the project includes sustainable infrastructure and quality public services, reflecting the government’s broader agenda of creating modern, resilient, and inclusive urban spaces.

The launch of the Hills Luxury Golf Estate marks a milestone in Zimbabwe’s efforts to modernize its urban centers, with the project expected to play a crucial role in promoting Zimbabwe as a prime destination for both tourism and investment.
