Whopping US$1 million in prizes at OK grand challenge promotion

Renowned retail chain, OK Zimbabwe (OK) launched its 35th edition of the iconic OK Grand Challenge Jackpot Promotion at OK Mart in Harare yesterday.

OK boasts of 52 OK stores, 9 Borne Marche stores and 8 ok Mart and a stand-alone liquor store. This places the supermarket chain as arguably the biggest in Zimbabwe.

OK which always puts smiles and happiness on its customers has dangled prizes worth a whopping US$1 million.

To cap it all the grand prize is a majestic Ford Ranger XLT double cab which is up for grabs.

OK alluded to its quest to bring happiness to its loyal customers through promotions such as the grand challenge among others.

OK’s supply chain director Knox Mupaya had this to say at the launch.

“Our commitment to making happiness tangible to our shoppers is brought into sharp focus through iconic promotions such as the OK Grand challenge. The fact that together with our suppliers we are able to mobilise prizes worth US$1 million in a tough year for retail shows that we do not pay lip service to delivering value to our shoppers. We actually put our money behind our promises”.

To qualify shoppers, have to spend at least US$10 or US$100 at any OK Zimbabwe or OK Mart store respectively. OK Mart participates for the second time since the start of the promotion.

This year’s grand challenge is being held under the theme. “OK Grand Challenge: where the nation shops and saves.

The theme resonates with what OK stands for.
