
A somber atmosphere prevailed in Harare as a mass memorial service for the 17 passengers who lost their lives in a tragic road accident near Suswe, Zimbabwe was held. The victims, mostly Malawian nationals, were en route to Malawi from Cape Town.
The Minister of Local Government and Public Works, Hon Daniel Garwe officiated the service as the Guest of Honour at Doves Funeral Services. Mourners, including members of the Malawian community, gathered to pay their final respects to the deceased.

Let us believe in the almighty; he is the creator of life,” he said while urging patience and faith during this difficult time.
According to reports, 14 bodies will be transported to Malawi for burial, while the driver of the BRD Luxury Coach was laid to rest at his rural home in Mutoko. The service is a poignant moment for families and friends to come to terms with the loss of loved ones.
The accident has sent shockwaves across the region, highlighting concerns about road safety. The memorial service is a testament to the lives lost and a call for continued efforts to improve road travel safety.
