The project, set to begin on May 3, 2026, is expected to be completed by November 30, 2026, and is a significant milestone in the implementation of the National Development Strategy 2 (NDS2).
The Fairfields road over rail bridge is a critical infrastructure project located on the Harare-Beitbridge road, a key international connection for traffic from various countries in the region.
