PSL Increases Gate Charges, Herentals vs Chicken Inn Behind Closed Doors

The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) has announced revised gate charges for the 2026 season, effective immediately. The increase is attributed to rising matchday services and taxes associated with hosting premier league matches. General admission tickets will now cost US$5, up from US$3 last season, while VIP/grandstand tickets will be US$15, and VIP area access will be US$25.

The PSL aims to balance the need for teams to break even with ensuring fans can access stadiums at a reasonable cost. The league acknowledges the importance of fan support and is committed to meeting their expectations.

The 2026 season kicked off on March 6, with MWIOS FC and FC Hunters playing to a goalless draw. However, Herentals’ match against Chicken Inn will be played behind closed doors due to disciplinary action taken against Herentals last year.
