Apostle P. Marozva Calls on Believers to Deepen Faith and Embrace the Fullness of the Holy Spirit

Chitungwiza — In a stirring message to his congregation at Holy Ground International Church, Apostle P. Marozva commended the church for its evident spiritual growth and maturity. Yet, he boldly challenged the faithful to “level up” their faith and walk in a deeper understanding of the Holy Spirit’s transformative power.

Drawing from John 14:15, Apostle Marozva reminded the congregation of Christ’s promise: “If you love me, keep my commandments.” He reflected on how Jesus comforted His disciples amidst the looming reality of His physical departure, saying, “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, to be with you forever.” Many had struggled to accept the emptiness left by Christ’s absence, but the Apostle urged believers to embrace the spiritual presence of the Holy Spirit, the true Comforter and Guide.

He emphasized that all things in the Christian journey are invested in the Spirit, urging the congregation to develop an understanding heart that recognizes the Holy Spirit’s diverse workings. Apostle Marozva said, “The Holy Spirit testifies to Abba Father,” reminding the church that “the Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God” (Romans 8:16). This spirit, he explained, is our identity: “He who has the Spirit has life” (Romans 8:10).

The Apostle went further to proclaim that the Holy Spirit is the ultimate unifier among believers. Referencing Galatians 5:22-23, he illustrated how the Spirit produces the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, virtues that form the foundation of good morals and godly living. “When gifts are enhanced by the Spirit,” he said, “their function flows effortlessly, without force.”

Apostle Marozva also connected the role of the Holy Spirit to practical life spheres such as business and marriage, reminding the church that these areas must be managed under the Spirit’s guidance to flourish. “Without the Spirit, no endeavor can reach its full potential,” he emphasized, urging believers to invite the Spirit’s wisdom in every aspect of their lives.

Closing his powerful message, Apostle Marozva called on the church to recognize that true spiritual maturity is found not just in knowledge but in a living, dynamic relationship with the Holy Spirit. He encouraged the congregation to open their hearts fully, for “the Spirit helps us in our weakness” (Romans 8:26) and equips them with everything needed for a victorious Christian life.
