Taxpayers have been reminded to submit their returns via the Tax and Revenue Management System (TaRMS), ZIMRA’s designated revenue administration platform, by the stipulated deadlines. Failure to meet these deadlines will result in a penalty of US$30 per day until the return is successfully submitted.

Additionally, taxpayers are advised to make timely payments through ZIMRA’s official bank accounts, ensuring they quote their Taxpayer Identification Number. Late payments or delayed submission of returns will attract penalties, interest, property attachments, garnishee orders, and potential prosecution.

To avoid these repercussions, taxpayers are encouraged to comply promptly.ZIMRA surpassed its revenue collection target for the first quarter of 2025. While the target was set at US$1.502 billion (equivalent to ZiG$40.32 billion), actual collections reached US$1.506 billion.
