The construction of the Museum of the African Liberation is advancing steadily, with the facility set to serve as a monumental tribute to the continent’s history once completed.
As part of the government’s media strategy, journalists and government officials, led by the Minister of Information, Publicity, and Broadcasting Services, Dr. Jenfan Muswere, recently toured the construction site in Harare. This visit was part of a series of provincial media tours organized by the Ministry to highlight key government projects aligned with Vision 2030.
“We want to ensure journalists are able to relate with what the government is doing, hence these tours. This Museum will be the citadel of the history of the continent and Zimbabwe at large. It offers insights into the liberation struggle, particularly the issue of land, which remains central to our discussions on land tenure today,” Dr. Muswere stated.
In line with the tour’s goals, the Ministry will also visit Manicaland this Thursday to showcase the Second Republic’s development projects that are reshaping the lives of ordinary citizens.
Harare and Mashonaland East provinces have already hosted similar tours, highlighting the government’s ongoing work to enhance the nation’s progress and future.
