“A Product of His Parents”: Apostle P. Marozva Celebrates Birthday with Powerful Message on Honoring Parents

Apostle P. Marozva celebrated his birthday with a heartfelt Sunday sermon that resonated deeply with his congregation, focusing on the powerful theme of honoring one’s parents. Declaring himself “a product of his parents,” he shared personal insights and spiritual wisdom, highlighting the biblical command to honor parents as a source of blessings and a key to living a fulfilling life.

The Apostle cited the scripture, “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you” (Exodus 20:12, NIV), reminding congregants that this commandment carries a promise from God for those who observe it. “This isn’t just a suggestion from the Lord; it’s a divine instruction tied to blessings,” he explained, underscoring the significance of showing respect and gratitude to one’s parents as an essential part of a faithful life.

Reflecting on his journey, Apostle Marozva shared how his parents not only gave him life but also played an instrumental role in his spiritual upbringing and moral foundation. “I am truly a product of my parents,” he said. “They raised me, guided me in the ways of the Lord, and taught me values that have shaped my life and ministry. Their sacrifices and teachings are the reason I stand here today.”

In addition to honoring parents, Apostle Marozva emphasized the importance of preserving Zimbabwean cultural values as an extension of this respect. He urged the congregation to maintain cultural practices that reflect gratitude and humility, as these values strengthen family bonds and identity. “Honoring our parents also means valuing the traditions they passed on to us,” he reminded the audience. “By embracing our culture, we uphold who we are and honor the generations that came before us.”

The message struck a chord with attendees, who felt inspired by Apostle Marozva’s reflections on faith, family, and cultural pride. His birthday sermon served as a powerful reminder of the enduring significance of parental respect, spiritual heritage, and the values that shape communities across Zimbabwe.
