CHITUNGWIZA – The Ladies Conference, hosted by Holy Ground International Church from June 20-23, 2024, at Riverside Chinhanga, Chitungwiza, featured an inspiring teaching by Prophetess E. Marozva. The conference focused on empowering women to build and preserve strong, healthy marriages.Prophetess Marozva emphasized that a strong marriage begins with a foundation of love and respect. She highlighted the importance of showing love through acts of kindness, words of affirmation, and spending quality time together. Respecting each other’s opinions, feelings, and needs is crucial for creating a harmonious relationship.
“Love is not just a feeling; it’s a commitment to care for and prioritize your spouse,” said Prophetess Marozva. “Respect is about valuing each other and understanding each other’s perspectives.”Effective communication was another key point addressed by Prophetess Marozva. She stressed the importance of open, honest, and respectful dialogue in marriage. Listening actively and speaking with empathy can help couples express their thoughts and concerns without fear of judgment.
“Communication is the lifeblood of any relationship,” she explained. “Make time to talk regularly, share your dreams, and address any issues calmly and respectfully.”Prophetess Marozva also discussed the necessity of forgiveness and patience in overcoming marital challenges. Holding onto grudges or reacting with impatience can harm a relationship, while forgiveness and understanding can heal and strengthen it.”Forgiveness is a daily practice,” she advised. “Let go of past hurts and focus on moving forward together. Be patient with each other’s imperfections.”A shared faith can be a unifying force in marriage, according to Prophetess Marozva.
Growing together spiritually strengthens the marital bond and creates a solid foundation for the relationship. She encouraged couples to pray together, attend church, and study the Bible.”Make faith a central part of your marriage,” she urged. “Pray together, worship together, and support each other in your spiritual journeys.”Prophetess Marozva’s teaching was met with enthusiasm and gratitude from the attendees.
