HARARE — Vice President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Hon. Col. (Rtd) Dr K.C.D. Mohadi, is expected to headline the fourth anniversary celebrations of youth empowerment movement Boys Dza Mdara at Heritage Village in Harare on 2 October 2026.
The anniversary, being held under the theme “Celebrating Four Years of Empowerment,” is expected to bring together youths and stakeholders from across the country, with organisers positioning the event as a reflection of the movement’s four-year journey in youth empowerment and national development.
The confirmation of Vice President Mohadi as Guest of Honour gives the anniversary a broader national development dimension, coming at a time when youth participation in economic activities, entrepreneurship and skills development remains central to Zimbabwe’s development agenda.
Since its establishment, Boys Dza Mdara has evolved from a social brand into a youth-focused empowerment platform, using its growing public profile to bring young people together around issues of opportunity, enterprise and personal development.
Organisers said the fourth anniversary would therefore go beyond entertainment, providing an opportunity to reflect on the initiative’s work over the past four years and its contribution to empowering young people.
“This is not just a party. It is a celebration of four years of empowerment and transformation,” organisers said.
The event is scheduled to begin at 0800 hours and continue until late at the iconic Heritage Village.
The anniversary is expected to attract thousands of young people from different parts of Zimbabwe, alongside business, community and other stakeholders.
