
The Zimbabwe Republic Police has commissioned a new fleet of motorcycles as part of its modernisation drive to improve law enforcement operations nationwide.

National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the development, stating that Commissioner-General of Police Stephen Mutamba had commissioned the batch of motorcycles for urban policing, rural patrols, and traffic enforcement across the country.

Book NowAccording to Commissioner Nyathi, the all-purpose terrain motorcycles will be allocated to police stations to strengthen scene attendance, crime management, and both general and targeted patrols, as well as to address reckless driving on the roads. He urged the public to cooperate with officers carrying out duties while riding the motorcycles.
The acquisitions are intended to boost mobility, response times, and operational effectiveness for officers in urban and rural areas.
