First Capital Bank Unveils “Deposit & Drive” Campaign with Fleet of Trucks as Top Prizes

First Capital Bank Zimbabwe has launched its nationwide Deposit & Drive campaign, offering customers the chance to win one of several trucks by maintaining and growing their savings. The six-month promotion runs from 1 June to 30 November 2026 and is aimed at rewarding positive savings behaviour while advancing financial inclusion.

The campaign was officially unveiled at a public activation in Copacabana, Harare, where First Capital Bank turned one of the capital’s busiest commercial hubs into a showcase of customer engagement, entertainment, and financial empowerment. The event drew significant public interest as customers interacted with bank teams and explored the bank’s digital banking offerings.

To qualify, customers must hold or open a qualifying First Capital Bank account and maintain a minimum deposit balance of USD500 per month. Each USD500 maintained earns one entry into the campaign draw. Entries accumulate monthly, meaning customers who save more and maintain balances longer improve their odds of winning.

Additional entries can be earned by registering for and using First Capital Bank’s digital channels, including Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, and *229# USSD Banking. The bank said this incentive is designed to drive digital adoption alongside a culture of saving.

Speaking at the launch, Angela Kamhiriri, Consumer Banking Director at First Capital Bank Zimbabwe, said Deposit & Drive is structured to reward everyday banking and help customers build stronger financial futures.

“Deposit & Drive is more than a promotion. It is an opportunity for our customers to turn their everyday banking into something truly rewarding. We want to encourage a culture of saving and financial discipline while giving customers the opportunity to win incredible prizes. Every deposit represents belief in tomorrow, and we are proud to reward that belief,” Kamhiriri said.

Fadzai Marowa, Head of Marketing and Communications, noted that the campaign reflects the bank’s focus on creating meaningful, engaging experiences that bring banking closer to customers.

“We deliberately designed Deposit & Drive to capture the imagination of our customers while encouraging a positive savings culture. The campaign combines financial empowerment with excitement, giving customers a compelling reason to engage more actively with the Bank. It is a reflection of our belief that banking should be rewarding, accessible and relevant to the aspirations of the people and businesses we serve,” Marowa said.

First Capital Bank positioned the campaign as part of its broader strategy as a relationship-driven, digitally evolving institution. The bank continues to invest in products and services aimed at creating long-term financial resilience and supporting inclusive economic growth.
