As Chairman of the province’s Disciplinary Committee, Cde Fundukwa said Zimbabwe cannot pursue a modern, industrialized economy under outdated legal frameworks. He highlighted Harare’s rapid progress, including modern road interchanges at Trabablas and Mabvuku, and the refurbishment of Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals, as evidence of the need for laws that match the country’s ambitions under the leadership of His Excellency President Dr ED Mnangagwa.

Cde Fundukwa added that supporting CAB3 is supporting the future of Harare and Zimbabwe. He revealed that ZANU-PF Harare Province has submitted over 200,000 written endorsements to Parliament through its cells, branches, districts, and provincial structures, excluding numerous additional submissions made by individuals.

He said the overwhelming response demonstrates strong grassroots support for the Bill, widely seen as a timely reform to accelerate strategic national projects under the National Development Strategy 2.
